GovRAMP Working Group

Collaborating with government and industry leaders to shape practical, secure cloud policies and implementation standards across the public sector.

About the Working Group

The GovRAMP Working Group offers a structured space for public and private sector members to collaborate with GovRAMP experts and shape secure, scalable cloud policies aligned with operational needs and evolving risk.

These Working Group sessions are designed to:

  • Give GovRAMP direct visibility into shared goals, implementation challenges, best practices, and opportunities
  • Provide an open forum where all stakeholders have equal access to information and a platform to contribute ideas, propose improvements, and help shape future program direction

GovRAMP’s Working Group focuses on identifying actionable strategies to streamline authorizations, promote trust, and support innovation in compliance practices.

Current Focus Area

GovRAMP Core and Security Program Evolution

  • Introduced in April 2025, ongoing collaboration via live sessions and feedback
  • Building upon public sector priorities and provider feedback to define security tiers and program pathways
  • Register to join the May 9 session or view the April 14 recording once available

How We’ll Work Together

GovRAMP facilitates discussion and provides a neutral, transparent space for contributors to share insights and shape outcomes. While GovRAMP convenes and supports these sessions, the direction is shaped by participant input.

GovRAMP Working Group Facilitators
will:

  • Manage scheduling and session logistics

  • Ensure sessions are inclusive and productive

  • Capture meeting notes and share recordings publicly

GovRAMP Experts
will:

  • Clarify how feedback can inform GovRAMP policies and standards

  • Share prototypes or examples for review when appropriate

  • Engage with the Working Group to develop consensus-driven outputs

Participation is flexible—members may collaborate live or asynchronously through our public feedback channels.

How We’ll Communicate

  • Public Webpage: All meetings, recordings, and summaries will be available here
  • Comment Form: Submit feedback or discussion topics at any time
  • Session Follow-Ups: Email reminders and recaps to all registrants

Key takeaways and policy-aligned outputs will be shared transparently.
