HRTec has long supported public sector organizations through its secure, scalable FedHIVE platform and Compliance as a Service model. As a GovRAMP member, HRTec continues to prioritize verified compliance and proactive engagement with government partners. In this spotlight, the team shares how GovRAMP strengthens their mission, lessons learned from their journey, and why trust and collaboration remain at the center of their approach.
Why did HRTec become a GovRAMP member?
FedHIVE, HRTec’s FedRAMP High offering, has provided IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services since 2008. In 2020, we expanded our capabilities to include Compliance as a Service, supporting customers with FedRAMP, DoD, and CMMC requirements across private and public cloud environments—including AWS, Azure, and Google Government Clouds.
As state and local agencies began participating with GovRAMP, joining the program became a natural next step. It aligns with our long-standing commitment to verified compliance and has strengthened our ability to support public sector customers. GovRAMP has proven to be a collaborative and valuable partner, especially for providers focused on secure, trusted public sector solutions.
What advice would you share with providers navigating the GovRAMP process?
Don’t treat GovRAMP as just a checkbox. It’s becoming a procurement standard and a key differentiator in the market. Taking the process seriously can build trust, shorten sales cycles, and support long-term business growth.
How does your team stay ahead of evolving cybersecurity requirements?
Our team stays informed by engaging with industry associations, collaborating with government partners, and following innovation in the commercial sector to track new risks and security developments.
How has GovRAMP benefited your organization so far?
Integrating GovRAMP into our platform has elevated our market position and added measurable value to our FedHIVE platform. It’s helped us meet increased demand from government customers seeking solutions with independently verified security assurance.
Please share any specific lessons learned from your GovRAMP journey.
