GovRAMP and Billington CyberSecurity Announce Back-to-Back Cybersecurity Events in San Antonio

Two independent cybersecurity events bring together government, industry and critical infrastructure leaders in San Antonio for expanded opportunities to connect and collaborate.

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 18, 2026) — Billington CyberSecurity and GovRAMP today announced a partnership to bring two important cybersecurity events to San Antonio this November, creating a unique opportunity for the cybersecurity community to connect, collaborate and exchange ideas across consecutive events.

GovRAMP will host its flagship GovRAMP Cyber Summit with presenting sponsor Carahsoft on Nov. 15-17, followed by Billington CyberSecurity’s inaugural Critical Infrastructure CyberSecurity Summit Nov. 17-18 at the Henry B. González Convention Center. While the events are independently hosted and focused on distinct cybersecurity priorities, their back-to-back schedules is a strategic collaboration, designed to maximize the benefits for state and local cybersecurity leaders in a time of tight budgets and packed calendars.

The two programs are built to complement, not duplicate. The GovRAMP Cyber Summit, held under the theme “More Security. Less Burden,” will focus on practical approaches to strengthening cybersecurity while reducing the complexity and burden of securing and adopting technology across government. The Billington Critical Infrastructure CyberSecurity Summit is the first national convening to unite all four lifeline sectors – energy, communications, transportation, and water – with every stakeholder in their defense: owner-operators, OT practitioners, state and local leaders, and federal partners.

Together, the events create a broader platform for the cybersecurity community to engage across complementary areas of cybersecurity, while allowing each event to maintain its own program, audience and focus.

“State and local government officials are a key part of the discussions Billington is convening around the security of lifeline critical infrastructure sectors,” said Troy Schneider, president of Billington CyberSecurity. “And critical infrastructure security is of vital importance to virtually all of GovRAMP’s membership. It was obvious that we should work to bring these communities together.”

“Cybersecurity challenges do not exist in silos, and bringing leaders together across different areas of the cybersecurity ecosystem creates opportunities for stronger collaboration and shared learning,” said Leah McGrath, executive director of GovRAMP. “We are excited to partner with Billington CyberSecurity to bring these communities together in San Antonio and create more opportunities for meaningful connections and conversations.”

GovRAMP’s Cyber Summit will take place Nov. 15-17, with members-only programming on Nov. 15 at the Plaza San Antonio Hotel and the main Summit program at the Henry B. González Convention Center on Nov. 16 and the morning of Nov. 17. Billington CyberSecurity’s Critical Infrastructure CyberSecurity Summit will begin at 1 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Henry B. González Convention Center and continue through Nov. 18.

Registration and sponsorship for each event will remain separate. Registration and sponsorship information for the Billington Critical Infrastructure CyberSecurity Summit is available through Billington CyberSecurity, while information about the GovRAMP Cyber Summit is available through GovRAMP.

Government and military personnel may attend both events free of charge.

The collaboration builds on a working relationship already in place. GovRAMP held a Symposium at Billington's State and Local CyberSecurity Summit in both 2025 and 2026, while Billington convened a roundtable of state and local cyber leaders at GovRAMP’s 2025 Summit.
