The Appeals Committee serves as the adjudicating body for issues related to the GovRAMP PMO. This committee is responsible for resolving conflict of interest claims, addressing disagreements over status determinations, and evaluating requests for exceptions.
Committee members collaborate closely with GovRAMP staff and may include subject matter experts appointed by the Board to assist in assessing claims. Through regular and ad hoc meetings, the Appeals Committee ensures that decisions are fair, consistent, and aligned with GovRAMP’s mission to uphold cybersecurity standards while fostering trust among government and service provider stakeholders.
