The Standards & Technical Committee ensures the integrity and relevance of GovRAMP’s security standards and policies. This committee is responsible for evaluating and recommending updates to Program Management Office (PMO) policies, security frameworks, industry best practices, and assessment processes to the Board of Directors.
Committee members collaborate closely with GovRAMP staff to maintain a standardized approach to cloud security verification. Through regular meetings and ad hoc sessions, the committee upholds GovRAMP’s mission to promote a “verify once, use many” model, reduce duplicative costs, and protect citizen data.
